The Toma to the number of 150 000 are established mainly in Guinea, between Macenta and Kissidougou. They are also found in Liberia, known as Loma. They are known for their famous pattern called Landai which has a hinged jaw set the crocodile, surmounted by a human face. Land is used in ceremonies of the Poro society.
